How we Work

The Covenant Scholars Fund is a nonprofit education loan program created to serve students through a relationship grounded in trust, integrity, and personal responsibility. When a borrower accepts a Covenant Scholars Fund loan, they are not entering into a purely transactional arrangement—they are entering into a covenant.

Our ability to offer below‑market borrowing rates exists because of the exceptional repayment history of borrowers who came before. Historically low default rates have allowed the Fund to keep costs low, reduce risk, and extend opportunity to future students. Each borrower benefits directly from this record of faithfulness—and, in turn, is asked to help preserve it.
